The McMinnville Fire Dept. contained a small apt. fire at Asbury apartments on Vinewood Rd. over the weekend.
According to McMinnville Fire Dept. Chief Kendall Mayfield, fireman responded to a small fire at Asbury Apt. I-9. Mayfield said a TV in the bedroom caught fire and burned up and charred a portion of the wall. The occupants got out safely and no one was injured. Officials contained the fire and did not spread to any other apartments in the building. Mayfield estimated the fire caused approximately 14,000 dolalrs in damages to the buildings and its contents.
