A White County woman has been charged in the death of her mother Thursday night at the mother’s residence on Edgewood Drive. Around 5:30pm Sparta Police Department responded to a domestic call and found a deceased female at the residence. The female was identified as Emmaline Webb. Her daughter, Quonisha Webb, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and is being held at the White Co. Justice Center. She will appear in court on Tuesday.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and District Attorney Bryant Dunaway’s office is leading the investigation.
