Fire departments from Centertown, Morrison and North Warren responded to a Monday morning fire at a residence on Bridge Builders Road.
According to Chief Phillip Prater they got the call around 6;30am about a structure fire at a mobile home on Bridge Builders Road. Prater said when they arrived the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames and was deemed a total loss. The resident was at home and perished in the fire. There has not been any identification on the remains found.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the cause of the fire. More details will be announced later.
