The McMinnville Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place on Hannah St. Monday evening.
According to Detective Sergeant Eddie Colwell, at around 9:25 pm Monday evening three to four black male subjects with guns, wearing dark clothing entered the residence of Roderick Cook on Hannah St. and assaulted three of his friends. During the investigation a person of interest has been identified. The investigation also revealed the residence and Mr. Cook were the targets. Among items taken was a brown pit bull dog named Hybrid, cash, a cell phone and a gold grill mouthpiece along with other items.
Cook was treated at River Park Hospital and the friend was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital.
