The Warren Co. Pioneers were defeated on homecoming night at Nunley Stadium , falling 41-26 to the Shelbyville Golden Eagles. Nathan Elrod scored 3 of the Pioneers four touchdowns. Pioneers are 1-5 on the season and 1-2 in district play. Despite losing the Pioneers clinched a playoff berth following Cookevilel’s 27-7 loss to Coffee Co.
Next week the Pioneers travel to Winchester to take on the Franklin Co. Rebels. Kickoff is set for 7pm.
