No Damage to Dams and Power Plants from Earthquakes

The Tennessee Valley Authority says it found no impacts to any of dams or power plants from last week’s earthquake.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded another earthquake Wednesday in the Decatur area measuring 2.1 in magnitude.
There have been several small quakes since last Wednesday’s 4.4-magnitude earthquake hit Meigs County.
TVA says the 4.4-magnitude earthquake was centered less than 3 miles from Watts Bar Nuclear Plant and Watts Bar Dam.
TVA had teams from several of its departments check to confirm there was no damage after the quake. More than 20 inspections were done within 24 hours.
The utility saying the generating systems continued to operate safely and on normal schedule through it all.
