Monday Wreck Sent One To Hospital

A two car wreck Monday afternoon on Highway 56 sent one to the hospital.
According to Trooper Ben Cannon of the Tennessee Highway Patrol a 2013 gray Nissan Rogue, driven by 72 year old Ann Taylor, was pulling out of her residence on Beersheba Highway to go toward McMinnville and pulled into the path of a black 2001 Honda Civic, driven by 46 year old Debbie Herman of Smithville. The Civic struck the driver side of the Rogue and came to rest upside down on its roof. Herman, who is a home health nurse, was on her way toward the Irving Colelge area to visit a patient. SHe was taken by ambulance to River Park with minor injuries and was treated and released.
No citations were issued.
