28 year old Jerry Brymer of Morrison was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days probation and ordered to serve 30 days in jail for one count of domestic assault and violation of conditional release.
According to Lieutenant William Cantrell of the Warren Co. Sheriffs Department earlier this month the victim told police that Brymer came to her residence and told her to go to town with him or he would damage her property. After threatening her and placing her in fear she got in the car and they drove to Walmart. While inside the victim gave a universal sign for help to an employee. She also mouthed for help to another employee. They left and stopped at the Shell station across the road and was contacted by the McMinnville Police Dept. and Sheriffs Dept. After speaking with the victim Cantrell obtained warrants for domestic abuse and violating his bond release. It’s the third incident with Brymer and the victim since August of last year. Brymer was sentenced to 30 days in jail and will serve 11-29 on probation.
