A two vehicle accident on Crisp Springs Road sent one to the ER Sunday night.
According to Trooper Wade Myers of the Tennessee Highway Patrol a 2006 Dodge Charger, driven by 43 year old Johnathan Trapp of McMinnville, was traveling north on Crisp Springs when for reasons unknown crossed the center line and struck a 2000 Ford Ranger, driven by 30 year old Cora Brymer of McMinnville. The impact sent the Ranger into a ditch and then struck a tree. The Charger came to rest a short ways away in a ditch in the southbound lane. Brymer was transported to River Park by ambulance with minor injuries. Myers told us that if she had a passenger it would have been very tragic. Brymer was on her way to pick up her child. Trapp was treated at the scene but was not transported. He was cited for failure to maintain his lane. He was also cited for not wearing a seatbelt. Myers said that Brymer was wearing her seat belt.
