With a little over two weeks to go, there have been 53 candidates that have pick up petitions for various elected offices across Warren County. 28 of the candidates have filed so far. The latest includes Levie Glenn for Road Superintendent and Holly Hodges for County Court Clerk. The latest county commissioners to file are Chris Rippy from District 3, David Dunlap from District 4, Autumn Malone with District 5, Randy England from District 8, Steven Potter from District 9, Steve Glenn from District 11 and Kenny Moffitt from District 12.
The deadline to have petitions returned is Thursday, Feb. 17 at noon with a withdrawal deadline of Feb. 24.
Anyone wishing to vote in the May 3 primary must be registered by Monday, April 4. You can register by visiting the Election Commission in the administrative building on Locust St… Early voting will be April 13 through April 28.
