Tennessee offensive lineman and former Warren Co. Pioneer standout K’Rojhn Calbert has entered the transfer portal after earning his undergraduate degree and suffering through an injury plagued 2021 season.
Calbert spent the past five seasons at UT. He played 33 games with five starts at right tackle in his career and graduated in December.
In a lengthy post on Twitter, Calbert thanked UT coaches, teammates and fans. And he added, "I am leaving Rocky Top to be able to continue pursuing football and my dream of making it into the NFL."
He can play one more season as a super senior because of a COVID exempt year.
Calbert played only one game in the 2021 season after suffering a preseason injury that sidelined him until November.
