The second semester of the 2021-2022 school year begins Tuesday January 4with a focus on health and safety for students.
According to a press release from Grant Swallows schools will return to in-person learning but following the updated CDC guidelines. Any person that tests positive must isolate for 5 days but can leave isolation if they are asymptomatic and wear a mask around other for 5 days. If the symptoms persist or they are unable to wear a mask they must isolate for 10 days. He said they will update procedures accordingly through this pandemic and will focus on prevention and care for students, faculty and staff.
Swallows went on to ask for patience for everyone as they navigate these issues, adding that employees have continually gone above and beyond for the well being of students. He added that they hope to have the safest and most effective semestr of the school year.
