Warren County Executive Jimmy Haley today announced that the county is installing anti-Covid entry tunnels at Warren County High School and at the County Jail. Haley said that it’s just the next step in our efforts to ensure the safety of our students, teachers and staff at Warren County High and to protect the health of those in our Sheriff?s Department as they carry out their critical duties.
Ozone water will be used in the tunnels that will help secure these facilities and reduce the threat of Covid and flu. Water generated from the Tersano system will also be used as a surface cleaner to sanitize the facilities and dramatically reduce the reliance on chemicals that often cause health problems or trigger allergic reactions, Haley added Iit is stronger than bleach but is as safe for people and pets as tap water.
The two entry tunnels and Tersano SAO dispensers for each site have been donated to the County by the Biles family, who have resided in Warren County for many generations,
Haley said he expects the systems to be installed and operational by the first of November.
