Lawmaker Wants to Crack Down on Passing School Buses

A Tennessee state lawmaker is sponsoring a bill that would catch people who speed around stopped school buses.
State Representative Jason Hodges has sponsored a bill that would put cameras on the outside of buses and would record drivers who pass them when bus stop signs are deployed.
Video would then be given to law enforcement. Each school district would determine the number of cameras for each bus.
The bill has been assigned to the Safety & Funding Subcommittee.
