Gas Prices

Gas prices in Tennessee rose 5 cents last week, and drivers should see additional increases this week. Crude oil and wholesale gasoline prices have surged to their highest levels since November. The large gains could soon drag the Tennessee state average up another 10 cents.
Tennessee gas prices are already at their highest levels, so far this year. Sunday’s average price of $2.09 per gallon is up 12 cents, compared to this year’s lowest daily average price of $1.97, which was set during the second week of January. Despite the recent gains, the Tennessee state average remains 25 cents lower than this time last year.
The national average price of regular unleaded is $2.31 per gallon.
