Schools Receive Recognition

The Tennessee Behavior Supports Project at Vanderbilt University has announced that five schools in Warren County have been selected as 2018-2019 honor schools. The schools were honored in January at the State Department of Education Partners in Education Conference in Nashville.
Eastside Elementary School and Hickory Creek were selected for the Model of Determination Award. Bobby Ray, Dibrell and West Elementary were selected for the School of Recognition Award.
The award winning schools demonstrated use of school-wide behavioral data to inform teaching practices and level of support provided to students based on need.
These schools have participated in training and technical assistance provided by the Tennessee Behavioral Supports Project and have undergone the process of implementing a positive and proactive behavioral systems framework for all students.
