The McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen Tuesday night voted to appoint Bill Brock as part-time City Administrator until a full-time Administrator can be hired. Brock had recently announced he was retiring as of Feb. 1st. He has agreed to work as City Administrator on a part-time basis, two days a week and on-call as needed to give the City time to interview applicants and hire their choice of applicants. Brock will also work with the person chosen for the job to help with the transition.
In other business, the board approved ordinances to rezone property at 106 and 108 Garfield Street from R-1 Low Density Residential to C-2 General Commercial.
