Nov. County Unemployment

Each of Tennessee’s 95 counties experienced lower unemployment in November, according to data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
Warren County’s November jobless rate was 3.8 percent, down from the October rate of 4.9 percent. The unemployment rate a year ago was 3.3 percent.
White County’s November unemployment rate was 3.5 percent, down from the October rate of 3.9. The rate one year ago in White County was 3.3 percent.
Van Buren County’s unemployment went from 5.0 percent to 4.5. Coffee County went from 3.7 to 3.3 percent. DeKalb County went from 4.7 to 4.1 percent. Grundy County went from 4.7 to 4.2 percent. Cannon County went from 3.5 to 3.1 percent.
Williamson County had the state’s lowest unemployment at 2.5 percent, while Lauderdale County had the highest at 5.8 percent.
